Euclides Tsakalotos

Euclides Tsakalotos, en grèc : Ευκλείδης Τσακαλώτος a vegada transliterat en Efklídis Tsakalótos, nascut en 1960 a Rotterdam (Païses Basses), es un economista e òme politic grèc, ministre de las Finanças de Grècia dempuèi julhèt de 2015.

Estudis e carrièra professionala modificar

Nacut a Rotterdam, estudièt la politica, la filosofia e l'economia a l'universitat d'Oxford. En 1989, intrèt a l'universitat del Kent, a Canterbury, per se consacrar a la recerca, puèi per i ensenhar l'economia. Es professor a l'universitat d'economia d'Atenas[1].

Engatjament politic modificar

Fa partit de l'equipa designada per redigir lo programa economic de SYRIZA (coalicion de l'esquèrra radicala). A partir de 2012, encargat de las finanças dins le cabinet fantauma del partit[2].

A l'eissida de las eleccions legislativas grègas de mai de 2012, es elegit membre del Parlament à Atenas. De nòu es elegit en junh de 2012 e 2015.

Pòrta paraula sus las questions economicas per SYRIZA al Parlament grèc, vice ministre dels Afars estrangièrs encargat de las questions economicas, Efklídis Tsakalótos es enargat per Alexis Tsipras, en junh de 2015, de remplaçar lo ministre de las Finanças, Yanis Varoufakis, dins mai d'una reunions de negociacions amb l'Eurogrop.

Lo 6 de julhet de 2015, l'endeman de la victòria del « non » al referendum portant sus las negociacions entre Grècia e la troïca dins l'encastre de la crisi del deute public grèc, es nomenat ministre de las Finanças a la plaça de Yenis Varoufakis, demissionari[3].
