Imagination

Imagination èra un grop anglofòn britanic de soul e disco tardiu (funk) fondat per Leee John, Ashley Ingram e Errol Kennedy a Londres (Anglatèrra) en 1981.

Produch en 1981 pel duò de productors Tony Swain e Steve Jolley, lor primièr album Body Talk obten lèu una gròssa capitada, en particular gràcias als tubes Body Talk e sustot Flashback (succès internacional al debut de 1982) ; mas es ambe lo segond album, In the Heat of the Night, paregut fin 1982, qu'Imagination es al som, en particular ambe lor títol Just an Illusion que serà lor mai gròssa capitada, classat no 2 al Reialme Unit e un succès en discotèca un pauc pertot dins lo monde entièr.

Lor succès declinarà lèu tre la mitat de las annadas 1980 en parallèla de la reculada de la mòda disco. Auràn pasmens un brèu retorn de popularitat en 1989, pr'amor d'un reviscòl global d'interès pel disco al moment de la house music, puèi passat aquel efemèr retorn al primièr plan, lo grop se separa en 1995. En 2016, publicaràn Retropia, un ultim disc, mas puslèu jol nom de Imagination featuring Leee John.
