Sananda Francesco Maitreya, nascut Terence Trent Howard, e mai conegut artisticament abans coma Terence Trent D'Arby (Manhattan, Nòva York, 15 de març de 1962) es un cantautor american. Coneguèt la celebritat internacionalament en 1987 a partir de son album Introducing the Hardline According to Terence Trent D'Arby e subretot sas cançons "Wishing Well" e "Sign Your Name". Terence Trent D'Arby cambièt son nom oficialament lo 4 d'octobre de 2001 per venir Sananda Maitreya.
