Freda Ahenakew
Freda Ahenakew (Ahtahkakoop, Saskatchewan, 1932) z-es un escriveire e lingüista cree de Canadà. Estudièt a l'universitat e balhèt de classas a la reservacion Lac la Ronde. Tanben z-es estada assessora lingüistica au Prince Albert Land Council. Fuguèt nomenada Doctoressa Honoris causa en 1997, e membre de l'Òrdre de Canadà dempuèi 1998. Z-es una granda especialista en lenga cree, z-a escrit Cree Language Structures: A Cree Approach (1987), Kthkominawak otbcimowiniwbwa/Our grandmothers' lives, as told in their own words (1992), Wanisinwak iskwesisak : awasisasinahikanis = Two little girls lost in the bush: a Cree story for children (1991), e Wisahkecahk flies to the moon (1999).
