Alice Munro

Alice Ann Munro, nascuda Alice Ann Laidlaw (Wingham, Ontàrio, 10 de julh de 1931) es una escrivana canadiana. Venguèt celèbra en Canadà en 1968 quand publiquèt son primièr recuèlh de narracions Dance of the Happy Shades que li faguèt ganhar lo prèmi literari mai prestigiós del país, lo Prèmi del Governador General. Sa notorietat se vegèt consolidada pel succès de son segond libre Lives of Girls and Women en 1971. D'autres libres posteriors foguèron recompensats amb divèrses prèmis coma lo Prèmi Giller en 1998 per The Love of a Good Woman o Runaway en 2004. Lo 10 d'octobre de 2013 sa trajectòria literària se vegèt recompensada per l'obtencion del Prèmi Nobel de Literatura de 2013
