== Caracteristicas ==
Son principalament nocturnas, mas dins las regions temperadas se pòdon veire activas durant lo jorn. Gaireben totas las tarentas son capablas d'emetre de sons que pòdon anar d'un pichon crit, dins las espècias mai pichonas, a un lairet estrident. Son de grands escalaires, presentan de coissinets aderents als dets. Aqueles coissinets son recobèrts per d'estructuras microscopicas semblant de pels, nomenadas "setes", que lor permeton d'escalar sus de de superfícias lisas.
